Designed for absolute beginners, this Novice 1 chess class offers a friendly and structured path into the world of chess. Across 14 one-hour sessions, learners will become familiar with the basics—from how to move and capture efficiently to recognizing early checkmate patterns. Classes are held every Tuesday from September 16 to December 16, 2025, and are priced at $40 per session, for a total of $560.
