Holiday Mini Camp

Course Description

Give your young chess enthusiast a fun, immersive boost during the holiday break with our Holiday Mini Camp. Over a few action-packed days, campers will dive into chess basics, sharpen their tactics, play mini-tournaments, and have plenty of chances to practice and explore in a supportive, fun environment. This camp is built for both beginners and those who want to polish their skills before the next term.

Mini Camps during school holidays. When school is closed it’s the best time to sharpen your chess skills. We offer half day and full day camps. During camps we offer puzzle solving, team challenges, and tournaments practice play. Come join us for a few hours and get ready for a day full of fun!! While also improving your chess skills.

Food

Pizza Lunch is included for full day campers. Please advise if the child have allergies or food restrictions. Otherwise child is welcome to bring their own lunch.

Schedule

9:00 AM Arrival

9.00 to 9.30 AM: Campers will be given puzzles to solve on paper base on their levels.

9.30 to 10.00 AM: Puzzle Reviews.

10.00 to 10.30 AM: Lectures on Opening/Middle game/ End games depending on campers levels.

10.30 to 11.30 AM: Playing Rapid games to practice what they learned. (Campers can have a snack break if they want)

Coach reviews games, answer any questions and make corrections for games played.

11:30 to 12.00 PM : Lunch time for full day campers.

For PM Campers 12.00 PM Arrival

12.00 to 12.30 PM : Puzzle time/ Puzzle reviews

12.30 to 1:00 PM : Groups puzzle battles (Camper will be divided into two groups).

1.00 to 2.00 PM : Lectures and game analysis of games played by top players.

2.00 to 3.00 PM: Camper will play Rapid games to practice what they learned.

3:00 PM dismissal for all campers
